Had to adjust Thunderbird fonts for these old eyes: (from reddit)


Try this:

* go to TB menu > General > Font & Colors > Advanced

* at the top, set 'Fonts for:' to Latin if it isn't already

* change all three sizes

* make sure 'Allow messages to use other fonts' is disabled


** at the top, change set 'Fonts for:' to Other Writing Systems

** repeat the process of changing sizes > OK > close the popup



I found setting the font size for "other writing system" is important.
