Hey, if you're in the US, Happy Thanksgiving! May all your gatherings
be cheerful and warm!

If you're in Canada, I hope you have happy memories of your
Thanksgiving.

If you're elsewhere, I hope that the harvest or planting celebrations
are prompting thanks for the bounty before the winter's chill ... or
the summer's scorch for the Upside Down Folk.

We (UK) have Black Friday. We don't know much about it yet, but if there's
a cheap deal...

Before the mailers started, what would you have thought "Black Friday"
referred to?

(The Mary Poppins answer: It's the Day all the Sweeps get together to
sing "Chim Chim Cherree".)

It was back when the UK joined the ERM for a few hours. Oh that was
Wednesday. We also had Blue Mondays. Maybe all days are colour-coded, and
I've forgotten.
