Merry Christmas, Joyeux Noel, Froeliche Weinachten, and Mele Kalikimaka
to all of you, and Happy Hanukka, Salubrious Solstice, and more!

Maybe C282Y is simply one of the hangers-on, a groupie following a
future guitar god of the human genome: an allele with undiscovered
virtuosity, currently soloing in obscurity in Mom's garage.

Same to you, fella.

And while it's not a quarter, I got a non-boring bit of samll change this
morning: a 1969-S penny, still rather shiny. Coins of the post-1967 San
Francisco Mint revival are infrequent visitors to these eastern shores.

The only 'S' quarter I've logged seems to be a 2002 Tennessee seen on
2020.

I don't check the other coins as carefully, but I don't recall an 'S'
for any that I have checked.
